Displaying records in multiple rows

If you prefer a more spacious layout with increased spacing, you can display one or more record fields in new rows, so that each record spans two or more rows. This approach enhances the overall readability and organization of your data presentation.

To show a record field in a row:

  • Drag the heading of the column, whose values you want to display in a new row, below the column headings to the left or right side of the grid. Release the mouse button when you see the horizontal green arrows indicating the new position of the heading.

NOTE: If the column heading you are dragging appears crossed, it means that the column can’t be inserted at this place.

To show a record field in a column:

  • Drag the heading of the row to the desired location between two column headings. Release the mouse button when you see the vertical green arrows indicating the new position of the heading.
