Network Inventory - Types of user-defined fields
User-defined fields (UDFs) can be of the following types:

Integer - an integer value between -99999999 and 99999999.

Logical - a boolean value (True or False). These values appear on the screen as check boxes in open records or as check marks in grid columns.

Currency - a currency value, which consists of a decimal value and a currency symbol, e.g. $500.00.

String - a text up to 1000 characters long.

Memo - blocks of binary data or text up to 1 GB in size.

Date - date value, e.g. 11/2/2010.

Date/Time - date and time values (a time stamp), e.g. 11/2/2010 12:46:25 PM.

Lookup - select fields where the user can choose a value from a list of available items. These fields appear on the screen as drop-down lists.
