Filter
The Filter window allows you to configure filtering conditions for retrieving records from the database.
This window can operate in one of the following modes:
-
Design mode - this default mode allows creating or editing the filter by using the graphical Filter Builder. For details, see Understanding the Filter Builder and Designing an Advanced Filter with the Filter Builder. You can change the mode by clicking Switch to SQL Mode.
-
SQL mode - this advanced mode allows you to directly specify the SQL WHERE clause and is recommended for advanced SQL users only. For details, see Designing an Advanced Filter by specifying an SQL WHERE clause. You can change the mode by clicking Switch to Design Mode. However, the filtering condition that you have entered in the SQL Mode will be lost.
