Moving or Copying Software Recognition Rules to Another Product

You can move or copy one or several product’s recognition rules to another product as follows:

1. In the Network Inventory application, go to the Software Catalog and double-click a Software Product. The Software Product [Product Name] dialog box opens.
2. Click the Recognition Rules tab, select the rules you want to move or copy, and click Move or Copy. The Select Product dialog box opens.
3. Locate the target product in the list and double-click it.
4. Click OK to close the Software Product [Product Name] dialog box.

   NOTE: A Software Product with no rules can not be recognized.
