Upgrade Alloy Navigator Express server components

NEXT STEP: Switch your pilot Alloy Navigator Express to production.

Upgrade your Alloy Navigator Express server components on the production server. The actual steps depend on your pilot environment.

• Pilot Automation Server is installed on a separate computer

  Pilot upgrade from version 8 or later required that you installed Alloy Navigator Express server components on a virtual machine or a separate computer, different from the production server.

  Now you need to upgrade your existing Alloy Navigator Express server components on the production server. For instructions, see Upgrade Alloy Navigator Express components.

• Pilot Automation is installed on your production server

  For pilot upgrade from version 7 or earlier we recommended that you install the new version of Alloy Navigator Express server components on the production server computer that currently hosts your production Automation Server.

  This means that your production server already hosts Alloy Navigator Express server components of the most recent version. To seamlessly replace your old installations with the new version, you should reconfigure the server to work with your production database. For details, see Start the production Automation Server.
