Stop the production Automation Server

Before proceeding with the upgrade, stop the Automation Server service on your production server. Launch the Automation Server Manager and follow the on-screen instructions. The actual steps depend on the version you ware upgrading from.

For example, to stop Alloy Automation Server 8:

1. On the computer hosting the Automation Server, run the Automation Server Manager.

2. Click Stop.

3. Click OK to exit the Automation Server Manager.
