New permissions

The new version introduces new functionality, which may or may not employ new object classes. Typically, your technicians must be granted respective security permissions in order to access new features.

Depending on the version you are upgrading from, you may be prompted to assign new security permissions to your existing security roles during the database migration. You can skip this step and assign permissions later, but keep in mind that without new permissions your technicians will be unable to access some of the new features in Alloy Navigator Express 2023.
