Understanding the Mail Connector

The Mail Connector is an internal Alloy Navigator Express tool which processes incoming e-mail messages and converts them into Service Desk Tickets, Change Requests and Approval Requests . The Mail Connector can also update existing Tickets and Requestswith responses from users or from third-party tools.

If you want Alloy Navigator Express to convert incoming e-mail messages into Service Desk Tickets and Requests, you should enable a pre-defined Mail Connector job and customize its settings as needed.
