Customizing Templates for Creating Objects

The Self Service Portal applies the New Equipment Reservations Template to initialize Equipment Reservations when they are created. Use this template to specify how to initialize the object properties, including those that are not be visible on New and View forms.

To customize the New Equipment Reservations Template for the SSP, follow these steps:

1. From the Sidebar, navigate to Customization > General > Self Service Portal > Forms.
2. Under Equipment Reservations, click New Equipment Reservations Template, review the default Template definition. If you want to assign an initial value to a field, proceed as follows:
   1. Click New. A new row appears.
   2. Select an object field in the Field Name field and specify its initial value in the Value field.

   Repeat these steps to specify initial values for other fields as needed. To remove a field from the Template, select it and click Delete.
