Changing the order of columns
You can change the order of the columns in a grid either by sequentially moving columns directly in the grid or using the Fields tab of the Customize View window.
To move a column in a grid:
Drag a column heading with the mouse to a place between any two columns. When the column heading is nearing the place of insertion, the green arrows appear showing where to insert the column.
To sort the columns on the Fields tab:
Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Customize View from the pop-up menu to open the Customize View window, then click the Fields tab.
The Show These Fields pane lists the visible fields in their current order. To change the order, select the desired field and change the field's position by using Move Up and Move Down.
