Preparing Inventory Analyzer packages for FTP Audit Sources

Before you can audit computers in FTP Audit Sources, you create one or more Inventory Analyzer packages that will be deployed to the target networks.

To prepare a package for an FTP Audit Source:

  1. Open the properties window for this FTP Audit Source:

    1. In the Sidebar, right-click the Site that contains this source, and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

    2. In the grid under Audit Sources, double-click the desired FTP Audit Source. The properties window for this audit source opens.

  2. On the General tab, click Deploy under Inventory Analyzer package. The Deploy Agents

  3. Select which audit agents your package will include (Windows, Linux, macOS) and specify the destination folder for the package.

  4. Click OK. Network Inventory creates the package in the specified folder.

  5. Click OK to close the properties window for this FTP Audit Source.
