Detail Reports

Detail reports display the detailed information about a single record. They are available for the most of Alloy Navigator Express objects.

Detail reports are available in the open object detail window, under the Print menu. The Manage Reports window allows you to manage detail reports for a particular object class. To access the Manage Reports window, choose Print > Manage Reports from the Module menu at the top of the open detail window.

NOTE:Alloy Navigator Express uses Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for running and creating reports. These reporting services may have some HTML issues. Specifically, detail reports may not display images embedded in the HTML fields.

Alloy Navigator Express supports the following operations with detail reports:

• Running detail reports

• Renaming detail reports

• Hiding and showing detail reports in the Print menu

• Customizing detail report layouts

• Saving detail report layouts to external report files

• Replacing detail reports with external report files

• Updating detail reports to the latest version

• Creating detail reports

• Deleting detail reports
