You can configure the view settings to group date columns in Microsoft Outlook style. That allows you to group records by a date/time field in more convenient and smart way: instead of grouping by exact date the records will be grouped by such categories as "Today", "Tomorrow", "Yesterday", "Last Week", "Next Week", "Last Year", "Next Year", and so on.
To apply grouping by date columns in Outlook style:
Right-click anywhere in the grid and choose Customize View from the pop-up menu.
In the Customize View window, click the Options tab.
Under Grouping, select the Group Date Columns in Outlook style check box.
