Opening attachments
You can open an attachment (a file or link) from the Attachments tab of an open record window. In addition, you can open a attachment file when you are performing a workflow action, in the action form.
By default, an attachment is opened with the program associated with the attached file or link's type.
To open an attachment file or link using the associated program in

Double-click the attachment on the Attachments tab or in the workflow action window.
To open an attachment file using a manually selected program:

Open the object record and click the Attachments tab.

Click the attachment file to open.

On the Module menu, select Open > Open With.

Select the program to open the attachment file with and click OK.
