Changing password

This article describes how Alloy Navigator Express administrators can change passwords for Technician accounts. This option is available for accounts with Standard authentication or SSO authentication with the password authentication enabled.

To change the password for an Alloy Navigator Express account:

  1. Under Accounts and Roles > Accounts, double-click the account to modify. The User Account form opens.

  2. Click Change Password. The Change Password form opens.

  3. Type in a new password in the New Password field and retype it in the Confirm Password field.

  4. Click OK to save the new password.

  5. Click OK to close the User Account form.

TIP: After changing the password, you may want to ask the technician to change their new password in their Web App or the Desktop App to something they will remember.
