You can temporary disable or re-enable recognition rules of a Software Product as follows:
- In the
Network Inventory application, go to the Software Catalog and double-click a Software Product. The Software Product [Product Name] dialog box opens.
- Click the Recognition Rules tab, select one or several recognition rules, right-click the selection, and choose Disable from the pop-up menu. To enable rules, choose Enable.
- Click OK.
NOTE: Disabled rules will be skipped when the
AutomationServer processes software installation data, which means that products can not be recognized when all of their recognition rules are disabled.
