To assign one or more Software Products to a group, follow these steps:
- In the
Network Inventory application, go to the Software Catalog and select one or several products in the list.
- Right-click the selection and choose Reclassify > [Group] from the pop-up menu.
NOTE: Alternatively, you can assign a product to a group when modifying the product’s properties. For details, see Modifying Software Recognition Rules.

Assigning Software Products to a Category
To assign a Software Product to a category, follow these steps:
- In the
Network Inventory application, go to the Software Catalog, select a product in the grid, and click Open.
- The Software Product [Product Name] dialog box opens.

- Click OK.
