Alloy Navigator Express provides access to computer, hardware and software inventory, service desk, contact management, reporting, administrative operations. Alloy Navigator Express includes the following modules:

Desktop Apps and Server components:

  • Desktop App — The Desktop App is a desktop interface for IT personnel to all Alloy Navigator Express functions.

  • Network Inventory App — The Network Inventory App is a desktop interface for IT personnel to the Network Inventory component of Alloy Navigator Express. This application provides you with all the tools you need to configure, deploy, and run the audit. It also provides analytical tools to analyze and interpret audit results.

  • Settings — The Settings App is an administrative application that enables you to perform various administrative tasks such as configuring business logic, creating and maintaining user accounts, configuring the e-mail and Active Directory integration, accessing logs, etc.

  • Automation Server — The Alloy Automation Server is a Windows service that runs automated tasks for Alloy Navigator Express.

Web Services

  • Web App — The Web App is a web interface for IT personnel to all Alloy Navigator Express functions.

  • Self Service Portal — The Self Service Portal is a web interface for your customers and internal company users to the Help Desk, Service Catalog, Knowledge Base and other modules of Alloy Navigator Express.

  • API — The Alloy Navigator Express API module provides integration capabilities for our native mobile applications and third-party applications. Using the API, you can make various apps work with Alloy Navigator Express objects and perform workflow actions.

Mobile Apps

  • Mobile App — Alloy Navigator Mobile App is our native mobile application that enables IT personnel to work with Alloy Navigator Express’s Tickets and Announcements using their mobile devices. The app requires that the API module is installed and configured for Access Token authentication.

  • Inventory Scanner — Alloy Inventory Scanner is our native mobile asset tracking solution that enables IT personnel to identify, view, and inventory IT assets in the field in real time. The app requires that the API is installed and configured for Access Token authentication.
