Workflow Upgrade

NOTE: Whichever option you choose here, your production database remains safe and sound. The changes will apply only to the pilot database.

Keep Existing Workflow

Your existing workflow will be imported to the new database as is. This is a save choice to keep all your customizations. However, you will not get improvements and new features that come with the latest version of Alloy Navigator.

The only new workflow you will get is the workflow for new object classes if the latest version introduces any.
Install Default Workflow

The default workflow contains an improved business logic for all Alloy Navigator object classes.

Installing default workflow will first remove all your existing workflow items and components(workflow actions, triggers, templates, forms, functions, e-mail notifications, and user macros), and then install the new ones.

Installing default workflow is the recommended choice, although if you have previously implemented heavy workflow customizations, your changes will be discarded. Your customizations will need to be implemented again on the new platform. In this case we highly recommend leveraging our Support Team who are experts in workflow design and implementation and committed to delivering quality and perfection.
