Select the type of database to create and click Next. The type determines the purpose of your database.

Production Database
Create a database for production use. Your database will contain a predefined combination of workflow and various configuration settings that you can use out of the box in your environment or customize to your needs. A production database does not contain any data records, such as tickets, computers, or people; you will populate it with your data as you use Alloy Navigator.

Evaluation Sample Database
Create an evaluation database populated with sample data, such as computers, tickets, and people. This database will help you evaluate the product and understand how Alloy Navigator works. You mat want to use this option to take a closer look at Alloy Navigator before using in the production environment.
