Marking a work calendar as default

When your organization uses multiple work calendars, you should always define a default work calendar in Alloy Navigator. The default calendar is used for automatic ticket prioritization.

When technicians configure Services in the Service Management module, they choose a work calendar to define the support hours for each Service Level. If no work calendar is selected, Alloy Navigator uses the default work calendar to calculate ticket response and due dates.

If no default work calendar is defined, Alloy Navigator assumes a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week schedule when calculating these dates.

To mark a work calendar as default:

  1. In the General > Work Calendars section, select a calendar under Calendars.

  2. Click Set as default.
