Customizing data grids

A data grid, such as the Computers grid or the Change Requests grid, is a UI element that displays database records of a particular class in a tabular format. Available in both the Web App and Desktop App, data grids offer numerous data presentation features, including filtering, grouping, and sorting. A data view is a specific visual representation of a grid, saved for re-use. Each data grid comes with some pre-configured, ready-to-use data views. Users can group, sort, and filter data in grids, save their settings in a view, and switch between views as needed.
