Keyboard shortcuts specific to Alloy Navigator

CTRL+G

Navigate to an Alloy Navigator object by its ID. For example, go to a ticket by its number, an asset by its tag, or a KB article by its ID. For details, see Accessing objects by ID.

CTRL+ALT+F

Open the Advanced Search tool to search for Alloy Navigator objects.

CTRL+SHIFT+A

In an open record, add an attachment.

CTRL+>

In an open record, close the record and open the details of the next record in the grid.

CTRL+<

In an open record, close this record and open the details of the previous record in the grid.

CTRL+ENTER

In the field provided with the ellipsis button, open the Select [Object] dialog box. In the field provided with the Open icon, bring up the Open dialog box.

CTRL+TAB

Switch to the next tab. Ignored if there is only one tab open.

CTRL+SHIFT+TAB

Switch to the previous tab. Ignored if there is only one tab open.

CTRL+W

Close the active tab. Ignored if there is only one tab open.

CTRL+R

In the Person details window, browse for an image to add or change the person picture. For details, see Adding, changing, or removing person pictures.

CTRL+O

In the Person details window, remove the person picture. For details, see Adding, changing, or removing person pictures.

CTRL+SHIFT+T

In a text field, insert the timestamp (the current date and time) and your name.

F4

In a text field, insert a snippet using the Snippets dialog box.
