About Asset Management module

The Asset Management component allows you to efficiently control and manage your valuable assets. This module comprises the following components:

• Assets

  Allows you to manage any of your assets and track various technical and financial information about them. You can associate an asset with a configuration item.

• Contracts

  Allows you to manage contracts with various external companies (vendors, service providers, etc.)

• Equipment Lending Library

  Allows you to keep track of the miscellaneous items that users can borrow from your organization for temporary use.

• Equipment Reservations

  Allows you to view and manage reservations for borrowing various items.

• Stock Rules

  Allows you to manage contracts with various external companies (vendors, service providers, etc.)

• Stock Rooms

  Allows you to define thresholds for particular Assets and Consumables in the stock and corresponding actions to perform with the items.

• Consumables

  Allows you to manage any of your consumables and track various technical and financial information about them.
