Reserve equipment
If your organization has an equipment lending library (or checkout library), you can easily reserve items like projectors, laptops, or headphones through the Self Service Portal. This ensures you get the equipment for the period you need.
You can reserve equipment in two ways: quickly from the equipment list, or by creating a reservation request in the Service Catalog. Depending on your organization, one or both options may be available; check with your IT administrator if needed.
Reserve equipment from the equipment list
If your organization doesn’t require approvals for equipment reservations, here’s the fastest way to reserve equipment.

From the side navigation menu, go to Reserve Equipment. The equipment list opens.

It's convenient to first check what’s available for the period you need. Above the list, select From and To dates in the calendar. The list will then show equipment available for that time. You can narrow the list by selecting a type from the drop-down in the top left.
TIP: To reset the calendar, clear the date fields and click Search.

Click the item you want to open it.

Click Reserve Equipment, fill out the form on the right, and click Submit. That’s it!
Reserve equipment from the Service Catalog
If your organization uses a more formal reservation process for equipment, use the Service Catalog. This method is suitable when approvals are required or when IT staff time needs to be tracked.

From the homepage, click Request a Service. You may also select Service Catalog from the side navigation menu.
The Service Catalog opens, showing all IT services available to you.

Select Equipment Lending Request or a similar option. Your IT department may have separate items for reserving different types of equipment.
- Fill out the request form and click Submit.
Track your reservations
You’ll receive a notification,whenever IT updates your reservation, both by email and via the notification bell. You can also see recent updates on the homepage, for example in the Latest Updates widget.
If you want to view a specific reservation, you can find it as follows:

From the side navigation menu, select Equipment Reservations.
Reservations created via the Service Catalog can be found under Service Requests.

Open the reservation you want to review or add a comment to.
