Viewing details
When you open a record in the Alloy Navigator Mobile App, the record details screen shows the main record information together with tabs for additional information, such as activities, child items, relationships, and attachments.
These tabs are similar to the corresponding tabs in the Alloy Navigator Web App.
General
The General tab opens by default and shows the main information about the record.
TIP: On the General tab, you can select text and copy it to the clipboard.
NOTE: If a field value does not fit on the screen, the Mobile App shortens it to the available space. To view the full value, tap the details button.
Additional record information
Depending on the record type and available data, the record details screen may include the following additional tabs:
-
Activities: Shows the record history and activity entries, such as updates, comments, and other events recorded for the item.
-
Child Work Orders: Shows child work orders associated with the current record. In the Web App, this information appears on the Work Orders tab.
-
Relationships: Shows objects related to the current record. In the Web App, this information appears on the Relationships tab.
NOTE: Some related objects may be marked with a red “Do Not Enter” sign. This means that the mobile app does not provide access to those object records. To view their details, use the Web App.
-
Attachments: Shows files attached to the current record.
When a tab contains related items, the number of items appears in parentheses next to the tab name, for example, Activities (3) or Attachments (2).
If no number is shown, the page has no items. When you open it, the app displays the message: "There are no items to display".
