Reconfigure Alloy Navigator Express web applications for production database and production URLs

Now you should reconfigure new web applications to use the production database and old URLs that your users access.

For the Web App, Self Service Portal, and the API you will need to change only two parameters: the database and the URL.

  • The database: On the Database page, change the name of your pilot Alloy Navigator 2023 database to the name of your production database (it is the name of your old Alloy Navigator Express database).

  • The URL: On each of the following pages: Installation Type, Web Site, and Virtual Directory, specify exactly the same settings that were specified for the previous version. This configures the new web service to use the existing URL that your users currently access.
