Configuring Automation Server

The Automation Server is a crucial component of the Alloy Navigator system. This Windows service is dedicated to running the following automated tasks within Alloy Navigator:

• Sending outgoing e-mail
• Running Active Directory Synchronization jobs
• Running Mail Connector jobs
• Running Alloy Discovery Connector jobs
• Running archiving jobs
• Running reporting jobs
• Running workflow Triggers based on condition
• Running recurrent Tickets
• Logging all events
