Choosing an organization and a location

You may need to choose an organization in the various open records; for example, if you specify organizations in person records, you can always view the organization details when you open those persons’ details in other components. Once you select an organization, the Organization field label becomes a hyperlink. You can click this field label to view the organization’s details. The object record will appear in a fly-out preview form. To access its full form, click the hyperlinked field label with the wheel mouse button, or click the Edit icon in the fly-out preview form. The object record will be opened in a new tab.

A CI, Person, and Organization, and some other objects can be associated with a location record to specify the physical location of these objects. Once you select a location, the Location field label becomes a hyperlink. You can click this field label to view the location’s details. The object record will appear in a fly-out preview form. To access its full form, click the hyperlinked field label with the wheel mouse button, or click the Edit icon in the fly-out preview form. The object record will be opened in a new tab.
