Notifying Project managers and Task assignees
The Project Management component supports sending e-mail notifications to Project managers or Tasks' assignees.
You can notify managers and assignees by performing the following workflow actions from the Action Bar or Actions menu:
- Communication > Notify Project Manager - this action is typically available if you are not the Project manager.
- Communication > Notify Assignee - this action is typically available if the Task is assigned to a technician and you are not the Task's assignee.
The e-mail notifications are sent to the Persons' primary e-mail addresses. Your administrator may configure Alloy Navigator to automatically send notifications when the Task starts or when any specific event occurs.
