Converting Alloy Navigator Accounts

If you want to convert between SSP Customer and Technician, it is not necessary to create and configure new Alloy Navigator accounts. You can convert the type of an existing ones.

To convert a Technician account into a SSP account:

  1. Go to Users & Security > Accounts and Roles > Accounts.

  2. Double-click the account to modify. The User Account window opens.

  3. Click Convert to SSP Account. The system displays a warning message advising you about risks.

    If necessary, you can update Account information, change Status, and User access level. For details, see Managing SSP Customer accounts.

  4. Click OK.

To convert a SSP account into Technician account :

  1. Go to Users & Security > Accounts and Roles > Accounts.

  2. Double-click the account to modify. The User Account window opens.

  3. Click Convert to Technician Account. The system displays a warning message advising you about risks.

    If necessary, you can update Account information, change Status, and License. For details, see Managing Technician accounts.

  4. Click OK.
