Changing password

Technicians who work with Alloy Navigator under accounts with standard authentication can change their passwords in their Web App or the Desktop App. Alloy Navigator administrators can also change passwords for technician accounts from the Settings App.

To change the password for an Alloy Navigator account:

  1. Go to Users & Security > Accounts and Roles > Accounts.

  2. Double-click the account to modify. The User Account window opens.

  3. Click Change Password. The Change Password window opens.

    NOTE: For accounts with Windows authentication, the Change Password button is disabled.

  4. Type in a new password in the New Password field and retype it in the Confirm Password field.

  5. Click OK to save the new password.

  6. Click OK.
