Stop the Automation Server before the upgrade

On the computer hosting the Alloy Navigator Automation Server, stop the Automation Server using the Automation Server Manager:

1. Run the Automation Server Manager from the Alloy Control Panel (Start > Alloy Software > Alloy Control Panel) or from the Start menu.

2. Enter the name or IP address of the SQL server that hosts your Alloy Navigator 2023 database, provide Alloy Navigator 2023 administrative credentials, and choose the database name.

3. Click Stop.

4. Click OK to exit the Automation Server Manager.
