Database Engine Requirements

The database migration procedure supports only a single SQL Server instance. This means the original database you are migrating from and the resulting Alloy Navigator 8 or Alloy Discovery 8 database must remain on the same SQL Server.

IMPORTANT: For Microsoft SQL Server 2005 users:
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is no longer supported. If you use SQL Server 2005, you will need to migrate to a newer version of the SQL Server. For details, see Discontinued Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Support.
