Adding Comments

As you add conditional statements and groups of operations, it may become difficult to keep track of the purpose or the logic behind the operations. To overcome this difficulty we recommend using comments.

You can add comments to workflow operations as follows:

  1. Click an operation where you want to add a comment.
  2. Click New > Comment. The Comment dialog box opens.
  3. Type your comment. A comments should indicate what the operation does, as illustrated below.
  4. Click OK.

    NOTE: Comments do not affect the execution of your workflow operations.

You can rearrange comments using the Move Up and Move Down buttons. To delete an unneeded comment, select it then click Delete.
