Controlling the Execution Order of Triggers

You may have several Triggers for the same object class, configured for the same event (for example, several On Deleted Triggers). You can set the order in which these Triggers will run as follows:

  1. From the Sidebar, navigate to the list of Triggers to re-order. For example, to set the execution order of On Deleted Triggers for Incidents, go to Workflow and Business Logic > Service Desk > Incidents > Workflow > Triggers > On Deleted.
  2. Click Order. The Execution Order dialog box opens.
  3. Select a Trigger and use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change its position. Repeat this step to reorder other Triggers as needed.

    NOTE: Alternatively, you can use drag-and-drop to reorder Triggers.

  4. Click OK.
