Adjusting Workflow Configuration

In the Workflow Configuration section, you can review and easily change various aspects of your workflow from a single screen. Here you can fine-tune business logic by adjusting Workflow Parameters:

NOTE: Using Workflow Parameters you can also specify dynamic values when building workflow items and components. For details, see Inserting Placeholders.

  1. In the Workflow and Business Logic > Workflow Configuration section, select a process which Workflow Parameters to adjust (for example, Incident Automation).

  2. Assign values to Workflow Parameters according to your needs. For example, if you want to reduce the number of days before automatically closing Incidents in “Completed” status, change a value in the Automatically Close Completed (Days) field.

NOTE: If you set a configuration value of any Workflow Parameter to 0, this parameter will be desabled.

Repeat these steps to change other aspects of your workflow.

NOTE: If you are planning to implement heavy customizations of the default workflow, Alloy Navigator offers you the ability to create new configuration parameters. For details, see The page has been moved to here.

  3. Click Save.
