The Web Configuration tool helps you set up the Web App, Mobile App, API, and Self Service Portal. You use this tool to deploy and configure all your Alloy Navigator portals and API once they have been installed. In addition, using the Web Configuration tool you can modify the initial configuration when needed, copy and move web services to a new location, and delete deployed instances if you do not need them.

You can start the Web Configuration tool as follows:

  • In the Alloy Control Panel, click the Web Configuration tool icon (see Introducing Alloy Navigator Components);
  • From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > Alloy Software > Alloy Navigator 8 > Web Configuration.
