Modifying a UDF's Definition

To modify the definition of a user-defined field, follow these steps:

IMPORTANT: You cannot rename user-defined fields that are added to the All Tickets / My Tickets grid. For details, see Adding Ticket Fields.

  1. From the Sidebar, navigate to the field list of the object class where you want to modify the UDF’s definition. For example, to access list of Purchase Order fields, go to Workflow and Business Logic > Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Fields.

  2. Double-click the UDF you want to modify. The User Defined Field dialog box opens.

  3. Modify the field label and other available parameters, as needed.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Click Save on the Standard toolbar to save the changes.
