Reporting Module

Alloy Standalone Reporting Module is a command-line utility which enables you to set up generation of existing Alloy Navigator summary reports in silent mode, without starting Alloy Navigator. Reports can be saved in different output formats (PDF, Excel, XML, etc.). Then you can share these reports as you need; for example, you can publish them to the web, send them via email, etc.

The Reporting Module is installed into the Alloy Navigator installation folder (typically, C:\Program Files\Alloy Software\Alloy Navigator\Bin); the name of the executable file is ReportCmd.exe.

For instructions on producing reports, see Using the Reporting Module. You can also use this standalone module for batch-generating multiple reports at once. For instructions, see Batch-generating and scheduling reports.

Alternatively to scheduling reports as a Windows Scheduled Task, you can configure Alloy Navigator to regularly run a reporting job on the Automation Server. For instructions, see Scheduling reports.
