Pilot upgrade process

This article lists the steps you should take to perform the pilot upgrade.
- Install Alloy Navigator Enterprise:
- Install server components of Alloy Discovery
- Create a pilot Alloy Discovery database
- Activate your pilot Alloy Discovery database
- Install server components of Alloy Navigator
- Create a pilot Alloy Navigator database
- Activate your pilot Alloy Navigator database
- Install and configure Alloy Navigator web applications
- Test your pilot Alloy Navigator Enterprise system:
- Switch your pilot Alloy Navigator Enterprise to production:
- Stop the production Automation Server and Inventory Server
- Force users to log off
- Stop the Automation Server and Inventory Server in the pilot environment
- Upgrade Alloy Discovery server components
- Switch your pilot Alloy Discovery database to production
- Activate your updated production Alloy Discovery database
- Upgrade Alloy Navigator server components
- Switch your pilot Alloy Navigator to production
- Upgrade Alloy Navigator web applications
- Reconfigure updated web applications
- Switch the Mobile App to the native API integration
- Redirect Alloy Discovery Synchronization to the production Alloy Discovery database
- Redirect Mail Connector to the support mailbox
- Delete test notifications and resume the Notification Queue
- Start the production Automation Server and Inventory Server
- Upgrade client components for technicians
