Message Box
To configure how to display a message to the user in a pop-up box:
- In the Message Box dialog box, under Message, enter the message text. You can insert dynamic values using the Insert Placeholder button.
NOTE: If you want to reuse the text in other messages, you can save this text as a macro by right-clicking anywhere under Message and choosing Create New Macro from the pop-up menu. If you want to reuse only a part of the text, select this part before right-clicking. Specify other details in the New Macro dialog box and click OK. The message text would be replaced with the new macro. For details, see Creating User Macros.
- Keep the Enable operation check box selected. Otherwise, this operation will be ignored.
- Click OK.
NOTE: If a Message Box operation is activated non-interactively, i.e. by an internal Alloy Navigator service or Trigger, Alloy Navigator doesn’t display the message but records it in the service’s log file. For details, see Creating Service Actions and Creating Triggers.
