Preparing Inventory Analyzer Package for Email Audit Sources

Before you can audit computers in E-mail Audit Sources, you create an Inventory Analyzer package that will be deployed to the target network.

To prepare an Inventory Analyzer package for an E-mail Audit Source:

1. Open the properties window for this E-mail Audit Source:

1. In the Sidebar, right-click the Site that contains this source, and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

2. In the grid under Audit Sources, double-click the desired E-mail Audit Source. The properties window for this audit source opens.

2. On the General tab, click Deploy under Inventory Analyzer package.

3. Browse to the destination folder for the Inventory Analyzer package. To create a new subfolder within the selected folder, click New Folder.

   Click OK. Alloy Discovery creates the package in the specified folder.

4. Click OK to close the properties window for this E-mail Audit Source.
