Stop the Inventory Server in the pilot environment

Before switching your pilot database to production, stop the service for your pilot database.

To stop Alloy Inventory Server:

1. On the test computer hosting the Inventory Server, run the Inventory Server Manager.
2. Click Stop.
3. Click OK to exit the Inventory Server Manager.

If you have several Inventory Server instances for your pilot Alloy Discovery database, you must stop every instance.
