Managing Software Categories

Using the Settings app, you can add, edit, and delete categories as needed.

Adding Software Categories

  1. In the Settings app, navigate to General > Software Catalog > Software Categories.
  2. Click New on the Module menu. The New Software Category dialog box opens.
  3. Type in a name for the category.
  4. Click OK.

Modifying Software Categories

  1. In the Settings app, navigate to General > Software Catalog > Software Categories.
  2. Select a category and click Edit. The Software Categorydialog box opens.
  3. Make your changes as needed.
  4. Click OK.

    NOTE: To change the display order of categories in the list, select a category and use the Move Up or Move Down buttons to change its position.

Deleting Software Categories

  1. In the Settings app, navigate to General > Software Catalog > Software Categories.
  2. Select a category and click Delete.
