Predefined Security Roles

Alloy Discovery has three predefined roles:

• Administrator — grants all permissions, which are Administration, Audit Management, and Sharing Local Views. This role allows complete and unrestricted access to all functions. When creating the Alloy Discovery database, you create the administrative account for managing all tasks and assign the Administrator role to this account.
• Auditor — grants the Audit Management permission. This role allows its members to discover and audit computers and network devices.
• Viewer — does not explicitly grant any permissions. This role allows its members only to access the Desktop App and view the audit results.
