Changing Password

If your users have accounts with standard SQL Server authentication, you are able to change their passwords from the Settings app.

When changing the passwords of your user accounts, consider the password complexity requirements for users to access Alloy Discovery.

1. In the Settings app, navigate to Accounts and Roles > Accounts.
2. Double-click the account. The User Account [User Name] window appears.
3. Click Change Password. The Change Password window opens.
4. Type in the new password and confirm it.
5. Click OK.

NOTE: Since the account is a SQL Server account, this will also change the password for the SQL Server account.
