Enabling Automatic Upgrade

If your want to distribute the latest client components among your technicians, you can enable the Automatic Upgrade feature in Alloy Discovery. When your technicians start their Desktop App, they will be prompted to automatically upgrade their installations.

To turn the Automatic Upgrade on:

1. From the Sidebar, navigate to General > Upgrade and Migration.
2. Upload the latest installation package.
3. Turn the Automatic Upgrade on

   IMPORTANT: This feature works only for upgrade from version 7.2 or later.
