Configuring Network Device types

By default, Alloy Discovery has several system types of the recognized network devices.

NOTE: The size of the selected icon must be 16x16 pixels.

If you want to monitor other devices, for example, iPads, you can configure a corresponding custom type and then manually associate each of the selected devices with this type. During the next data upload, Alloy Discovery does not update specified custom types.

You can create, rename and delete custom types of the network devices. In addition, you can set and change their icons.
